AUGUST RESULTS // 2020 VISION Project Pan

Hey!

August was a rather productive month if we’re talking about makeup use-up, and I am getting closer to reaching my initial goals. This month I might start using some of the products I’d neglected, like the single shadows or bronzer, so October update will be interesting!

Essence Million Nude Faces #beYOUtiful palette

Goals: use up half of the palette, and pan every shade.

Last month I extended the amount of visible pan in the already panned eyeshadows, and hit pan in the copper shimmer. I’m so close to reaching my inital goals!

I might continue using this palette until January to see if I could finish off all but the two deepest shades.

Technic Nudes Eyeshadows

Goal: use up the three lightest shadows.

During August I used the pink shade twice, and I realized it’ll be a difficult eyeshadow to finish off. Compared to the Essence palette above, the shades in this palette are denser and less dusty!

Catrice LE ViennART Baked Eyeshadow C03 Lovely Lace

Goal: hit pan.

I can’t recall if I used this product in August, but soon I’ll start using it daily as it is the perfect autumn shade!

Catrice Velvet Matt Eyeshadow 060 Moss Wanted Colour

Goal: create a massive dip in the middle.

I feel like this is the perfect grey-green eyeshadow to use during the gloomy months of the year!

Flormar Eyeliner 113

Goal: use it up.

No update as I forgot to use this product. On the bright side, I am planning to create a few colourful looks that would appear better on top of a white base, so I might use this product up at last!

Golden Rose Eyeliner 305

Goal: use it up.

I’m back to liking brown eyeliner, so I was able to use this product enough to make a difference. Soon enough this pencil will be as long as the Flormar pencil!

Rival de Loop Eyebrow Pen 02 Brown

Goal: use it up.

I used this pencil a few times but if I used it consistently, I might use it up within a month or so.

Eylure Brow Luminizer highlight pencil

Goal: finish it off.

I sort-of expect to see nothing on the inside the next time I sharpen it!

RdeL Young Eyebrow Pomade 01 Soft Brown

Goal: use up 1/3 of what’s inside the pot.

I’ll reach my initial goal in September, and I’ll have to decide on a new brow routine. What do you think, should I continue using this pomade until it’s completely done, or should I focus on other products?

Revolution Iconic Matte Nude Lipstick in Wishful

Goal: use it up.

In August I used this lipstick enough to make it look smaller, but it hasn’t changed in length at all. The shade of this lipstick is a bit too light to look good by itself, so I use it on top of deeper lipsticks.

Revolution Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette Light-Medium

Goal: use up any four concealers.

After using up the fourth concealer, I will find a new concealer to use around my eyebrows. The leftover shades in this palette are way darker than my skin tone, but they will work fine as eyeshadow bases and cream bronzers.

Technic Colour Fix Pressed Powder Contour Palette

Goal: use up all powders.

I have a week’s worth of product left in the pan; after using it up, I’ll be able to say goodbye to this bulky palette.

Rival de Loop Bronzing Powder 01 Salted Caramel

Goal: hit pan.

44g • 42g • 40g • 38g

I have no fresh update photo to offer as I was concentrating my efforts on the Technic bronzer!

Goal: use it up.

I used this powder all throughout August, and so far I have little hope to finish it off before Christmas…

 Frankenperfume

Goal: use it all up.

I feel like the longer this perfume sits on the shelf, the more rose scent gets overpowered by some of the men’s cologne I poured in there. Either way, I’ll continue using this perfume and hopefully I’ll use up as much product as during August.
