JULY RESULTS // 2020 VISION Project Pan
Hey!
Today I’m sharing my July results and all the products I’ve nearly used up. I’m slowly getting closer to meeting my initial goals, and I should probably hurry up as the year is getting close to its end! (P.S. One of the products has experienced some changes in its appearance!)
If you like beauty and cat photography, check out my Instagram @xocaligo! While I have been a bit quiet on social media, I do plan to come back in near future. 🙂
Essence Million Nude Faces #beYOUtiful palette
Goals: use up half of the palette, and pan every shade.
48g • 46g • 44g
Last month I hit pan in the champagne shimmer and chocolate brown shades, and visibly extended the pan in rose gold shimmer and matte taupe eyeshadows. I’m happy about my July results and the fact that I’m closer to meeting both of my goals for this palette!
Technic Nudes Eyeshadows
Goal: use up the three lightest shadows.
34g • 32g
Once I use up the rose gold shimmer from the Essence palette, I will do my best to finish the pink from this palette!
Catrice LE ViennART Baked Eyeshadow C03 Lovely Lace
Goal: hit pan.
18g
I’ll start using this eyeshadow more often as we’re getting closer to autumn. Would you like to see any autumnal looks? If so, leave your ideas in the comments below, or DM me on Instagram @xocaligobeauty!
Catrice Velvet Matt Eyeshadow 060 Moss Wanted Colour
Goal: create a massive dip in the middle.
20g
I used it a few times but not enough to make a noticeable difference, so there’s no new photos for this update.
•Flormar Eyeliner 113
Goal: use it up.
2g / 50mm • 2g / 49mm • 2g / 45mm • 2g / 43mm • 2g / 40mm
I didn’t use it at all, even though it could’ve been finished by now. I need to pull myself together and finally use up this pencil!
Golden Rose Eyeliner 305
Goal: use it up.
4g / 94mm • 4g / 89mm • 4g / 84mm • 4g / 77mm • 2g / 70mm • 2g / 65mm • 2g / 64mm • 2g / 56mm
This month I enjoyed applying this pencil as eyeliner and setting it with the deepest matte shade from the Essence palette. Highly recommend trying this eyeliner technique!
Rival de Loop Eyebrow Pen 02 Brown
Goal: use it up.
4g / 75mm • 4g / 70mm • 4g / 68mm • 2g / 63mm • 2g / 59mm • 2g / 53mm • 2g / 48mm • 2g / 45mm
During July I filled in my brows using the pomade and some eyeshadow, so there’s not a lot of progress to share today.
Eylure Brow Luminizer highlight pencil
Goal: finish it off.
10g / 112mm • 10g / 110mm • 8g / 89mm • 8g / 81mm • 8g / 74mm • 6g / 70mm • 6g / 61mm • 6g / 59mm
The pencil has gotten so tiny I find it hard to stick the caps back on, but there’s still some product left inside!
RdeL Young Eyebrow Pomade 01 Soft Brown
Goal: use up 1/3 of what’s inside the pot.
46g
I’ve been using this product to fill in the tails of my brows, afterwards blending out the product with a hard spoolie. It would be awesome if I could hit more pan in this product during August, though I’d also love to use up the brow pencil!
Revolution Iconic Matte Nude Lipstick in Wishful
Goal: use it up.
14g / 23mm • 14g / 22mm • 14g / 21mm • 14g / 18mm
I have no update photo to share as I only used the lipstick once. I did declutter the lip balm as I have several other products to use instead, and there was basically nothing left inside the tube anyways!
Revolution Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette Light-Medium
Goal: use up any four concealers.
146g • 144g • 142g
Last month I tried using the deepest concealer as cream bronzer and it was nice, so I might do that in the future too. The concealer I hit pan on a few months ago is almost done as well, which means I’m very close to meeting my initial goal!
Technic Colour Fix Pressed Powder Contour Palette
Goal: use up all powders.
116g • 114g • 112g
If I’m lucky I might be done with this product by mid September; isn’t that exciting?
Rival de Loop Bronzing Powder 01 Salted Caramel
Goal: hit pan.
44g • 42g • 40g • 38g
There is no visible difference in the pan so I didn’t include an update photo, however, the product weight did drop to 38 grams. As soon as I’m done with the bronzers from the powder palette, I’ll focus all of my attention on this product!
Goal: use it up.
44g • 42g
Although I used this powder several times, there’s still a lot left for future months.
25 different perfume & cologne samples aka Frankenperfume
Goal: use them all up.
92g • 80g • 66g • 46g // 40g
I mixed all the leftover samples in a bottle that contained rose perfume, in the process creating Frankenperfume that smells like manly flowers. (At least the scent is wearable now!)
The bottle and rose perfume weighed 34g before the added samples, and 44g after. Since the Frankenperfume’s creation, I’ve used up 4g and I plan to use it until it’s all gone!
#QOTD: What do you think of my July results? Have you tried doing any beauty product experiments like the one I did with mixing perfumes? Leave a comment, let’s have a chat!
Until later,
