Dr. Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Night Cream Review // Dry Skin

Hey!

Today I’m here with yet another Dr Organic product review, and this time it’s dedicated to their Moroccan Argan Oil Night cream. This product is supposed to give the skin radiance and make it more healthy-looking and soft; it’s especially important during the spring and summer months!

My skin becomes problematic during season changes, with winter to spring transition being the toughest to endure as I always get loads of dry patches and redness. While I still have some of those problems, this product has helped me get my skin back in a semi-decent shape!

➕

  • Cruelty-free & vegan.
  • Free from parabens, SLS, synthetic colours, phthalates, petrolatum, glycols, DEA, BHT, isothiazolinones, mineral oil and silicones.
  • Suitable for both face and body.
  • The product feels like a light and slick water-based primer.
  • You only need a coin-sized amount of product to moisturize the whole face and neck area, and most of the product soaks in within 5 minutes.
  • Moisturizes dry patches and noticeably improves the appearance (and smoothness) of my skin.
  • Works well under water-based makeup products. If you’re not using foundation, wait ~10 minutes before applying powder products to prevent patchiness. Other than that, you can stick to your usual makeup routine!
  • This product hasn’t caused any additional issues to my skin.
  • Comes in a compact glass jar with a plastic lid that has a squishy lining.
  • Most of the packaging is recyclable.

➖

  • Out of all Dr. Organic creams I’ve tried, the Moroccan Argan Oil night cream has the strongest scent. It doesn’t go away, though at least it hasn’t caused any migranes or skin issues.
  • Leaves a slight film on top of my skin which takes a while to disappear. The lefotver product doesn’t feel sticky, though.
  • This cream isn’t as moisturizing as I’d prefer. I’ve found that if I want to fully moisturize my dry patches I have to reapply this product several times, which isn’t ideal if I’m wearing makeup. This cream will work well if you don’t have extra dry skin or psoriasis, but if you do have the issues I mentioned, check out their cocoa butter creams instead!
