OCTOBER RESULTS // 2020 VISION Project Pan

Today I wanted to share my October results in one of the last updates of this Project Pan. Only one update to go before the finale, can you believe it? During October I didn’t use as much face makeup, however, I did hit pan in another eyeshadow and finished two pencils. How many products do you think I could use up this month?

How are y’all feeling? How was your October? To me, last month started really promising and I had so many ideas for blog and social media content, but then it all went downhill. Some days I didn’t have time or energy, then I caught a cold and spent several days feeling like a zombie. (It wasn’t the infamous virus, don’t worry!) Also, I realized that I can’t stick to strict schedules, so I’ve decided to post new content whenever I feel like it, instead of sticking to certain times and dates.

Essence Million Nude Faces #beYOUtiful palette

Goals: use up half of the palette, and pan every shade.

I didn’t finish the champagne shade, but I did hit pan in the shimmery taupe. Now all I have to do is use up the champagne shimmer and matte taupe eyeshadows, and hit pan in the chocolate shimmer. Do you think I could do it during November?

Technic Nudes Eyeshadows

Goal: use up the three lightest shadows.

Unfortunately, last month I created more gold toned looks, so I didn’t reach for this palette at all. Hopefully I can find ways to pair the light pink shimmer with other eyeshadows!

Catrice LE ViennART Baked Eyeshadow C03 Lovely Lace

Goal: hit pan.

I used this eyeshadow a lot and loved how it looked! It is the perfect product for single shadow looks, and it also goes well with the shades I have left in my Project Pan palettes. Ideally, I’d love to create a noticeable dip in the middle, though I’ll be happy about any advancements.

Catrice Velvet Matt Eyeshadow 060 Moss Wanted Colour

Goal: create a massive dip in the middle.

I haven’t used the green shadow as much, though I have to say it looks nice on the lower lash line.

Flormar Eyeliner 113

Goal: use it up.

Ideally I’d use up this pencil during November, as I’d love to finish all Project Pan pencils before December.

Golden Rose Eyeliner 305

Goal: use it up. ✔️

This pencil can’t be sharpened anymore, so I’m officially marking it as used up!

Rival de Loop Eyebrow Pen 02 Brown

Goal: use it up. ✔️

The last time I sharpened the pencil, the core fell out and I had to place it back. Therefore this product is officially used up!

Eylure Brow Luminizer highlight pencil

Goal: finish it off.

I’ve started using this pencil as eyeshadow primer and it works fine if I’m only wearing makeup for a few hours. I’d love to finish off this product by mid November!

RdeL Young Eyebrow Pomade 01 Soft Brown

Goal: use up 1/3 of what’s inside the pot.

During October I preferred brow pencils as I find they’re easier to apply and I don’t have to worry about having Sharpie brows. Perhaps I’ll have better luck using this product during November?

Revolution Iconic Matte Nude Lipstick in Wishful

Goal: use it up.

As I only wore makeup when going grocery shopping, I didn’t use this product at all. I should probably get into a habit of wearing lipstick at home, even if I’m going nowhere and seeing no one besides my mum and pets!

Revolution Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette Light-Medium

Goal: use up any four concealers.

The amount of concealer I have in the nearly empty pan will last me ’til around mid November. After that, I’ll focus on other products, or mix and match concealers to create one that fits my skin tone.

Rival de Loop Bronzing Powder 01 Salted Caramel

Goal: extend the pan as far as possible.

I managed to hit more pan in this bronzer, even though I only used it two or three times. From this point it should be easy to extend the pan further, though I don’t know how often I’ll use face makeup products.

Goal: use it up.

I barely used any face makeup during October as I only applied makeup on days when I went shopping, and I couldn’t (and wouldn’t want to) shop without a face mask on. I don’t know about you, but my face sweats so much when I’m wearing a mask that wearing face makeup seems unbearable!

25 different perfume & cologne samples aka Frankenperfume

Goal: use them all up.

I’m afraid I forgot to use this product, so there’s no update I could share. Hopefully I’ll have better results to show in the next update!
