NOVEMBER RESULTS // 2020 VISION Project Pan

Hey!

Two posts in two days, can you believe that? Today I’m here to share my November results, and they are very impressive. I met half of the remaining goals, used up three products, and nearly finished off a dark eyeshadow which, by the way, has never happened to me before!

Essence Million Nude Faces #beYOUtiful palette

Goals: use up half of the palette, and pan every shade (✔️).

48g • 46g • 44g • 42g

I don’t know how I managed to use up so much eyeshadow. The champagne shimmer is done, there’s a massive pan in the shimmery chocolate shade, and the weight of the palette went down by 2 grams! At this point I’m curious to see which shades I’ll be done with by the end of December; my guess is the whole bottom row.

Technic Nudes Eyeshadows

Goal: use up the three lightest shadows.

34g • 32g

I’ll try my best to use up the pink shimmer by the next (and final) update. I’ve also started using the deepest shade as powder eyeliner and it looks really nice!

Catrice LE ViennART Baked Eyeshadow C03 Lovely Lace

Goal: hit pan. ✔️

18g

I went beyond my goal of hitting pan and used up the whole eyeshadow. In fact, I hit pan soon after the last update, and from then on it was easy to use up the rest of the product. I liked the shade, but the formula was too fragile and crumbly, so while I would recommend their baked products, you have to be careful about how you handle them.

Catrice Velvet Matt Eyeshadow 060 Moss Wanted Colour

Goal: create a massive dip in the middle.

20g

Now that the golden eyeshadow is done, I will try to use this product at least once a week during December and we’ll see what happens.

Flormar Eyeliner 113

Goal: use it up. ✔️

2g / 50mm • 2g / 49mm • 2g / 45mm • 2g / 43mm • 2g / 40mm • 2g / 37mm

Since I knew there was very little product left inside this pencil, I took out the core and placed it in one of the empty pans of my concealer palette. I did the same thing with the highlight pencil and mixed them together to create an eyeshadow base!

Eylure Brow Luminizer highlight pencil

Goal: finish it off. ✔️

10g / 112mm • 10g / 110mm • 8g / 89mm • 8g / 81mm • 8g / 74mm • 6g / 70mm • 6g / 61mm • 6g / 59mm • 6g / 54mm • 4g / 49mm • 4g / 30mm

Since there was little product left, I scraped it out and mixed it with the white pencil core. The end result is a thick, shimmery eyeshadow base that’s perfect for shiny eye looks!

RdeL Young Eyebrow Pomade 01 Soft Brown

Goal: use up 1/3 of what’s inside the pot. ✔️

46g

I pushed the product around to see if I have met my goal, and found out I’ve used up more than 1/3 of this pomade. Because of that, I decided to call this product done (for now), and focus on other products instead.

Revolution Iconic Matte Nude Lipstick in Wishful

Goal: use it up.

14g / 23mm • 14g / 22mm • 14g / 21mm • 14g / 18mm

Seeing as I never wear lip products now because of masks, I highly doubt I’ll be able to use up even half of it by the end of this challenge.

Revolution Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette Light-Medium

Goal: use up any four concealers. ✔️

146g • 144g • 142g • 140g

After meeting my goal, I decided to set this palette aside, at least until I can decide what to do with the deeper shades. I have depotted an old Technic cream bronzer and two eye pencil cores in some of the empty pans, so I will continue to reach for this palette every day, still.

Rival de Loop Bronzing Powder 01 Salted Caramel

Goal: extend the pan as far as possible.

44g • 42g • 40g • 38g

I’ll continue using this bronzer as often as possible, and we’ll see how far I get by the final update!

Catrice Nude Illusion Transparent Loose Powder

Goal: use it up.

44g • 42g • 40g

There are at least five more uses left inside the container! Do you think I could finish it off by the finale?

25 different perfume & cologne samples aka Frankenperfume

Goal: use them all up.

92g • 80g • 66g • 46g // 40g • 36g

It’s the second (or third) month in a row where I forget to use this product! Isn’t that horrible? If I had used it at least twice a week for the whole year, I would’ve been done with it by now!

#QOTD: Are you thinking about participating in any makeup challenges in 2021? I’ll definitely do another year-long Project Pan, though I might tweak it a little to fit my current goals! For example, throughout the year I might do some seasonal Project Pan challenges and document the progress on my Instagram @xocaligo, or create a whole separate account for social media challenges. What do you say about that?

Until later,

xoCaligo
