Dr.Organic Organic Aloe Vera Cream Review // Dry Skin

Hey!

Today I wanted to chat about one of my most recent skincare finds, an organic aloe vera cream, which has saved my skin during these unpredictable winter months!

This is the second time I’ve tried products from the Dr.Organic brand, and I’m interested in what else they have to offer. Have you tried any of their stuff? Perhaps you’d like to see more Dr.Organic product reviews? Either way, comment your thoughts below!

➕

  • Cruelty-free & vegan.
  • Free from parabens, SLS, synthetic colours, phthalates, petrolatum, glycols, DEA, BHT, isothiazolinones, mineral oil and silicones.
  • This product can moisturize any part of your body that’s experiencing dryness.
  • It feels smooth and slick, not unlike a silicone-based primer. Thankfully it’s silicone-free, as I’ve heard that ingredient could clog pores.
  • The product soaks in within a few minutes after application.
  • It doesn’t leave a tacky or greasy film on top of my skin.
  • Moisturizes light dryness and makes my skin as soft as a baby’s bottom!
  • It works well underneath all makeup products I’ve tried, from water-based foundation to different powders. It doesn’t decrease the longevity of my face makeup. The makeup products I used haven’t separated or looked odd on my skin.
  • I haven’t noticed any additional issues since I started applying this product.
  • When used sparingly, it’ll last for several months. I only need a few dabs of cream to moisturize my entire face and neck!
  • Comes in a compact glass jar with a plastic lid that has a squishy inner lining.
  • Most of the packaging is recyclable.

➖

  • It has a soapy floral scent, which reminds me of the liquid inside soap bubble toys. The smell becomes lighter over time, though it never disappears. While it’s not an issue for me, I know many people dislike scented skincare products!
  • The aloe vera cream isn’t as moisturizing as their cocoa butter face creams. I have light psoriasis all over my face, and I have to reapply this cream every few hours for the dryness to disappear.

#QOTD: Have you tried any of the Dr.Organic shampoos or deodorants? If so, feel free to leave your thoughts on them down below!

Until later,
